1. Introduction

RASS Packaging L.L.C ("we", "our", or "us") is a paper packaging manufacturer based in the United Arab Emirates. We are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to www.rasspack.com (the "Website") and of our business contacts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL") and other applicable UAE legislation.

2. Data We Collect

We collect personal data only where necessary for our business dealings with you:

  • Inquiry data — when you submit our quote request form, we collect your company name, contact person's name, business email address, phone number, expected order volume, and any information you include in your message.
  • Correspondence data — information you provide when contacting us by email, phone, or WhatsApp.
  • Technical data — our hosting and content delivery providers may automatically process IP addresses and browser information as part of serving the Website securely. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We process personal data for the following purposes, on the basis of your consent (given when submitting an inquiry) and our legitimate business need to respond to and manage commercial relationships:

  • Responding to quotation requests and sales inquiries;
  • Preparing and performing contracts for the supply of our products;
  • Maintaining commercial records as required by UAE law;
  • Operating and securing the Website.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing communications without your prior consent.

4. Sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the Website and receive inquiries — currently our web hosting/content delivery provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) and our form processing provider (Web3Forms) — and where disclosure is required by UAE law or a competent authority.

5. International Transfers

Our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a level of protection consistent with the requirements of the PDPL.

6. Data Retention

We retain inquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to your request and manage any resulting business relationship, and thereafter as required by applicable UAE commercial and tax record-keeping obligations. Data no longer required is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the PDPL, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request erasure of your data;
  • Request restriction of, or object to, processing;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office as the competent supervisory authority.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) across the Website.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
